Nature footbridge needs work and gets a follow-up!
The footbridge linking Riverton Bridge Park and Adenia Park is in need of maintenance. Recently, I welcome David Bolt MLA, Shadow Minister for the Environment, to visit the bridge. Big thanks to Councillor Ben Kunze, City of Canning, for being a strong local advocate on this issue.

Multiculture or Monoculture Australia?
I believe in a multicultural Australia. “Multiculturism” does not mean other cultures should supersede the Western culture as our dominant culture. Migrants should integrate, and uphold Australian values such as equality before the law, freedom of speech, and respect for democratic institutions, while also contributing to and serving the community. But we should not exclude the preservation and celebration of other cultural practices, including food, festivals, and traditions – as “monoculture” would suggest.

A rare break in the weather, and I made the most of it!
Completed a 3.4 km walking loop in one of my favourite local parks – Piney Lakes Reserve. Whatever your interest, there’s something here for you: landscaped gardens, a children’s playground, a dog park, nature’s reserve, and an EcoHub.
For a more vibrant and caring community,
